Axis four · signed as mastery

Attainment

Attainment is the station. Mastery is how it shows — arhat, bodhisattva, tathāgata, each signature read in its own division.

About this axis

Attainmentis the most commonly misread axis in the whole curriculum. It is not “the point where you finish”. And mastery— ten-fold sovereignty of the tathāgata, the arhat's bypass of saṃsāra, the bodhisattva's inexhaustible two-fold resource — is not another stage beyond attainment. It is the signature that attainment immediately leaves. The instant attainment happens, mastery is already how it shows up in the world.
